The TBP cold water kit takes its name from the term Twin Balanced Piston, which means double balanced piston, which in a few words describes the way the dry kit works. It is a piston-controlled system that is screwed onto the medium pressure end of the 52X, 15X and 25XR 1st stages and prevents any water from getting in touch with the inner parts of the stage.
