The joints at the base of the fin blade of these fins are part of the patented OPB system, which means that the fin blade is always in the optimum position during the fin stroke to ensure maximum propulsion and minimum effort.
The 6 shark tooth-like applications on the fin blade of the Mares X-Stream are the result of bionic research, which stabilize the fin and prevent water turbulence on the fin blade.
The wide flow channel and the wide side ribs of the Mares X-Stream fin are features that already convinced us with the Mares Superchannel OH fin, because they lead to enormous water displacement with little effort, and thus to maximum efficiency.
Mares fins with a very good hold and comfortable fit
The unique foot pocket of the Mares X-Stream scuba fins is made from three different materials so that it adapts perfectly to the diver's foot and optimally transmits every movement to the fin blade during diving without straining the diver's muscles. The holes in the foot pocket prevent the suction and congestion effect in the foot section of the Mares X-Stream fin both when diving and when donning and doffing.
