Mares Quad Air dive computer wit LED Transponder Air Tank Module
The Quad Air is a high-quality Mares dive computer with air Integration with this matching Mares Transponder Air Tank Module, also available in a set as Quad Air with interface together with the Mares Blue Link interface.
Like the non-air-integrated Mares Quad, the Quad Air is characterised by an ingeniously clear display, very easy operation and a variety of practical features. As air-integrated version, it offers even more safety when diving.
The Quad Air is basically the optimised big brother of the popular Nemo Wide, popular because of its large rectangular display and simple menu navigation. The Mares Quad Air takes that, but trumps its little brother by a long way in terms of technology and Features.
Simple operation with four large buttons
The operation of this Mares dive computer with air integration has also become even easier, with the four control buttons built into the corners that intuitively guide you through the clear menu. Thanks to the mirror-like button arrangement you will have to problems to operate your computer even during the dive or with neoprene gloves.
Very well structured display
The display has also been drastically modernised, and is now even sharper and easier to read, and with the two flexible fields for additional information, the important data becomes even clearer while diving.
Safer diving with air integration
Together with this powerful Mares Air Tank Module Transponder, the Quad Air dive computer now offers you more safety, as your personal air consumption and breathing rate while diving are included in all calculations to provide you with even more precise saturation values, an even more accurate bottom time and important information such as remaining air time.
All necessary diving functions for recreational diving available
The Mares Quad Air offers, as usual, a Nitrox setting for oxygen content up to 99% and is also Multigas capable - up to 3 different gas mixtures can be calculated.
Many other popular and practical features provide everything a recreational diver needs underwater: audible alarms, ascent speed display, altitude setting, temperature display, salt-freshwater mode, reliable decompression planning mode and many other functions.
Standard batteries, easy battery replacement
This Mares computer works with commercially available lithium batteries, whose charge status is of course shown on the display, and which can be changed by the user himself.
Matching batteries and other Mares accessories such as Mares interfaces or spare wristbands for Quad dive computers can of course also be found in our online Divestore.
Mares Transponder Air Tank Module
This Mares Transponder is a powerful transmitter for wireless transmission of air pressure from the scuba tank to any compatible Mares dive computer, such as this Quad Air or the Smart Air, automatically upgrading it to an air-integrated dive computer for even more accurate data while diving and even more safety for the diver.
Easy installation and secure connection
The Mares tank pressure transmitter is very easy to install by attaching it to an available high pressure port ( 7/16") on your regulator. Pairing the transmitter with the compatible dive computer is a snap and is stored so that the connection is maintained even after a battery change.
Stable data transmission for safer diving
Accurate, up-to-date air consumption and tank pressure information is transmitted directly to the dive computer, and this data is then included in all dive calculations to provide you with completely accurate values about your remaining bottom time, saturation or remaining air time, making your dive that little bit safer.
Pressure indication also via LED
As soon as the transmitter is connected, the approximate pressure of the tank is immediately visible to the diver, even without looking at the dive computer. This is because the attached LED display of the Mares transponder is colour-coded, so that it is immediately visible to you on the surface without a dive computer, or underwater to your buddy or dive guide, how much air is left in your tank: green for over 180 bar, yellow at 100 bar and red below 50 bar.
Long battery life
The Mares transmitter is powered by a standard CR123A, which allows 150 to 200 dives, depending also on the ambient temperature. To conserve battery life, the LED display is automatically switched off after 4 minutes of no change in tank pressure above 1 bar.
Very robust construction
For safe operation, the Mares Air Tank Module is made of very robust materials and is EU certified up to 300 bar, compliant with En250:2014.
