Assembly tool for hose protectors
This practical Scubapro diving tool is a tool for assembling kink protectors such as the Mares hose protector in our online dive shop, an assembly tool for kink protection for the high-pressure hoses and low-pressure hoses of your regulator.
The hoses of your regulator can kink directly at the connection point during diving and transport and thus develop cracks over time. In order to avoid that we recommend, as a professional regulator workshop, to equip every regulator hose with a suitable hose protector. Some hoses are already supplied with kink protection, such as the Polaris Miflex HD hose or the Polaris MD hose, but in most cases, you have to equip your regulator yourself with kink protectors.
Since the assembly of one of these very narrow hose protectors with normal tools or with bare hands is often not feasible, such a tool for assembling hose protectors should not be missing from any workshop for diving equipment or from any diver's tool box.
The assembly tool for hose protectors is made of sturdy metal and is equipped with a break-proof plastic handle. This assembly tool is equipped with a 7/6 "UNF thread at one end and a 3/8" UNF thread at the other end so that you can use the tool to assemble kink protection for both high-pressure hoses and medium-pressure hoses.
