Scubapro S-Tek fins
As the name suggests, this Scubapro S-Tek Fin appeals specifically to technical divers who have particularly high demands on their fins, which means that this fin has to impress with really strong performance and very robust materials.
Made from robust Monoprene
Like the popular Seawing Nova fins, the S-Tek is also made of very high quality Monoprene material, which not only provides extra strength to the fin blade, but also promises durability, even under extreme conditions.
The bungee straps have not been spared either, they are even more tear-resistant and robust than older models and guarantee a very stable hold even under high demands.
Innovative fin blade with excellent performance
You can see at first glance that a lot of knowledge and development work has been invested in the fin blade of the S-Tek fin, and the investment has paid off. The special design of the fin blades optimises the performance of each fin stroke to the maximum. For example the water resistance is reduced by the openings in the Clean Water Blade.
The reinforced and slightly bevelled leading edge improves the stability of the fin blade and gives you maximum efficiency and more thrust even on alternative fin kicks.
The whole blade has a slim profile and has been pre-angled by 30° to achieve the optimum angle of attack with as little effort as possible. This not only gets you ahead faster in any situation and allows you unprecedented manoeuvrability, but also protects your legs and joints while diving.
Very firm and comfortable fit
The design of the foot pocket is also well thought out and offers a comfortable and secure fit even with thick neoprene shoes. A firm hold is provided by the elastic bungee straps with decent tension, which also offer the possibility to make small adjustments for different neoprene footies.
With adjustable buoyancy
Whether you want a positive, negative or neutral buoyancy fin, you can now choose and adjust the S-Tek fin. It comes with different Lock Plates, high quality stainless steel weight plates that you can screw onto the front of the fins, making exactly the difference in buoyancy you want. Of course, the appropriate tools are also included.
Removable fin blade
And if you don't have quite as much space in your dive bag, you can still take the S-Tek fins with you because you can separate the fin blade and foot pocket in no time at all. The innovative system was already very well received with the Seawing Supernova fin and was therefore immediately adopted for the S-Tek.
