Mares regulator Rover 15X with octopus Rover
The Mares Rover 15x is an optimised and modernised version of the classic Mares Rover, here together with the matching Mares Rover Octopus, also available in combination with the Mares 1st stage 2S as the Mares Rover 2S Regulator. TRhe Rover 15X is a light and reliable regulator for travelling or for beginners, a modern Mares regulator from the new generation of "X" first stages, from which masterpieces such as the Mares Atlas 62X or Mares Epic ADJ 82X have also emerged.
The Mares 15X 1st stage
Lightweight 1st stage for entry-level regulators
The 15X is the new Mares 1st stage for every diver. Lightweight, durable and practical, it is ideal as a first stage for diving schools, as a first stage for travel regulators or as a second first stage for a Mares cold water configuration.
The Mares 15X is equipped with 4 medium pressure ports and 2 high pressure ports, which are very cleverly positioned to allow flexible and individual assembly of the Mares Regulator.
Robust construction ensures durability
What makes this 1st stage so particularly robust is the innovative ACT Valve Advanced Coating Technology. This revolutionary valve in the new Mares "x" stages increases the service life by up to 600%, even if the regulator is exposed to extreme diving conditions. This means that even after many years and numerous dives, you can still rely on your Mares regulator working perfectly with your Mares 15X 1st stage.
As with older Mares 1st stages, the 15X also features the patented dynamic flow control, the Mares DFC technology, which minimises the drop in medium pressure during inhalation and thus stabilises the air delivery rate. The positive influence of the DFC is particularly noticeable in the Mares 15X 1st stage at great depths or heavy breathing.

The breathing resistance of this Mares 2nd stage is also impressive beyond a depth of 18 metres, thanks to the patented VAD system vortex support that ensures a constant air supply at any depth. The built-in Fluid Dynamic Reflector inside the 2nd stage ensures that the diver has a consistently easy breathing in every diving situation.
