The Hollis LTS Jacket
The Hollis LTS Jacket is a lightweight Hollis Wing Jacket, an ultra-light Hollis travel jacket equipped with the innovative Hollis Light Travel System that turns a high-quality Wing BCD into a practical travel buoyancy compensator.
The Hollis LTS diving jacket adopts significant features of the popular Hollis HD200, one of the best-selling Wing Jackets and Hollis BCDs worldwide, in terms of performance, design and the well-known red-black Hollis coloration.
With a lightweight of less than 2.5kg in size L, the Hollis LTS travel jacket scores in the first place due to its significantly reduced weight, which is very important especially for divers who have to travel with light diving luggage. Despite this low weight, the Hollis LTS Wing Jacket is not lacking in equipment, because it has everything a diver needs when diving on vacation. The chest strap and hip belt of the Hollis BCD are steplessly adjustable, and the Hollis dive jacket LTS is equipped with enough D-rings in the chest and hip area to attach all the diving equipment.
For weight, the Hollis LTS Jacket has enough space in the two fixed weight pockets which are on the sides, on both sides, in the hip area and in which you can store up to 2.5 kg. weight. The weight pockets of the Hollis LTS jacket can be opened with a zip at the top, and in order to drop weight in case of emergency, they can be opened with a quick release buckle at the bottom. The advantage is that only the weight pieces are dropped in an emergency, and not the entire weight pouch, as with many other BCDs.
The 70cm long rubber inflator hose with built-in quick release and easy-to-use inflator head, which is attached to the left shoulder, ensures easy buoyancy adjustments, as well the quick release placed on the left bottom side of the Hollis LTS BCD.
The 13.6l lift capacity of the wing bladder (in size L) of the Hollis LTS Wing BCD is also impressive as it is really a lot for a travel jacket. Nevertheless, the Hollis LTS Jacket is very streamlined, even when inflated.
Even if the weight is really low for a diving jacket, the Hollis LTS Jacket is made of quite robust material, with 1000D nylon on the outside and 420D on the inner bladder. Hollis stands for this robust and hard-wearing construction of the LTS BCD with a limited lifetime warranty.
In order to keep the weight low, the Hollis LTS travel jacket deliberately goes without a plastic back plate, which doesn’t mean that the back of the diver is not protected when carrying the air tank. The Hollis LTS Jacket is equipped with a stable and very comfortable back pad, and the spine of the diver is thus optimally protected when using conventional AL80s or steel 85s for diving.
