This 5/7mm neoprene hood is a warm, high quality Waterproof vented neoprene hood, a very comfortable 7mm anatomical hood for divers, with a 5mm bib, also available as H2 7mm hood without bib, both equipped, like the previous model Waterproof H1 5/7, with the innovative Hood Air Venting System that made the Waterproof neoprene hoods so popular.
Good thermal protection for divers in cold water
This 7mm H2 is one of the thicker bibbed hoods in Waterproof's H2 series, a 7mm hood with a 5mm bib that ensures that the diver's head is well protected in cold water. Because the sensitive head gives off enormous amounts of body heat when diving, it is particularly important to protect it well with a warm and well-fitting neoprene hood when diving at lower temperatures.
This H2 hood consists of a mixture of 7mm and 5mm neoprene to offer maximum cold protection and at the same time optimal comfort. The 7mm neoprene in the head area keeps the diver's head warm, and the 5mm neoprene bib provides a comfortable fit around the neck without constricting the diver when worn.
Very high quality neoprene hood for demanding divers

The neoprene material used is 100% CR limestone neoprene, a very environmentally friendly neoprene material that is very hard-wearing and resistant to salt water.
High wearing comfort
To minimise the constriction of the diver's head, the H2 hood is 3-D anatomically pre-shaped for a very comfortable fit. For easy donning and doffing, the Waterproof neoprene hoods are coated with smooth Glideskin Seal that sits comfortably against the skin.
Practical valves prevent air accumulation in the hood
Every diver knows the problem of air in the hood, an uncomfortable air bubble at the top of the head that can mess up the whole buoyancy control, or at least lift the hood off the head enough to let in a gush of cold water. Experienced divers have always used scissors to cut ventilation holes in the hood, but this of course allows cold water to enter at that point and can also cause the hood to tear.
Waterproof has an ingenious solution for this - the H.A.V.S. Hood Air Venting System. This system consists of a one-way valve that ensures that the air that enters the hood can immediately escape to the outside, but water cannot enter the hood from the outside. And the Waterproof 5/7 mm neoprene hood has two of these air vents, so that air can escape in any head position.
Good visibility in murky water
The reflective logos on the forehead and neck of the H2 Waterproof 5/7 mm neoprene bibbed hood ensure good visibility even in murky water.
