The Garmin T2 Transceiver
The matching Garmin Descent T2 transmitter transforms the powerful Garmin MK3i dive computer into a dive computer with air integration and with dive messaging function (with software update in 2024).
Stable and reliable data transmission with SubWave 2 sonar Technology
Compared to classic dive computer transmitters, the Garmin Tankpod T2 uses advanced sonar technology, the brand-new SubWave 2.0, which allows you to pair the Garmin MK3i computer with up to 8 transmitters simultaneously and allows a decent range of up to 10m underwater for air integration.
The Garmin transceiver is simply screwed into the high pressure port of the 1st stage of your regulator instead of the pressure gauge and can be intuitively and easily paired with the Garmin Descent MK3i dive computer to monitor all important dive parameters on your display. As with its predecessor, it shows you the current tank pressure and calculates the actual and very accurate saturation and remaining no-decompression time, but the T2 transceiver also allows you to monitor your buddy by keeping an eye on his dive data, his air consumption and even his distance (with software update in 2024).
Diver2Diver underwater messaging
What diver hasn't dreamed of being able to send a message to their buddy, student or dive group underwater whenever they need to? With the new T2 Transciever with SubWave 2.0 technology, the dream has become a reality with the groundbreaking Diver2diver function that allows you to send underwater messages to up to 8 divers (with T2 transmitters) simultaneously, at a distance of up to 30m (with software update in 2024). Practical underwater communication - a significant plus in diving safety for every buddy team and especially for diving groups and diving courses.
Long battery life
The Garmin T2 transceiver for Garmin Descent MK2i dive computers is powered by a long-life 3V CR123A lithium battery with a runtime of up to 100 operating hours, which can be easily replaced in your specialist workshop.
Useful accessories
We recommend using the transmitter with a practical short high-pressure hose, such as the Polaris Miflex Extreme 15cm HP hose. This offers you an extension of the connection point and ensures better and more stable data reception, simpler hose configuration of the regulator and dampens the slight buzzing sound of the sonar transmitter.
Suitable replacement O-rings and replacement batteries for the Garmin transmitter can also be found in our online dive shop.
