The new Garmin dive computer MK3i 51mm, also available in a smaller version as Mk3i 43mm, offers an unsurpassed range of technical refinements and innovations that provide you with maximum safety and comfort while diving, through easy underwater orientation, precise health monitoring, practical underwater communication and even the possibility to send an emergency call while still underwater.
Diving safety through advanced air integration, underwater communication and satellite connection
The new SubWave 2.0 air integration (together with one or more T2 Garmin transmitters) that comes with the new MK3i dive computer in both sizes, including the MK3i 43mm, allows you to keep a close eye not only on your air consumption rate and remaining air volume, but also on your buddy's (up to an underwater distance of 30m).
Buddy tracking allows you to monitor your buddy's distance (with software update in 2024) and depth at all times and even set a distance alarm, and with the integrated Diver2Diver system you can send messages to your buddy's dive computer via T2 Garmin Transmitter, up to a maximum distance of 30m (with software update in 2024).

Your health is always in focus with the new Garmin dive computer MK3
Dive Readiness is a concept based on the use of a large number of fine sensors to accurately measure and evaluate critical factors that can affect your risk of decompression sickness, in order to provide you with a safe dive. Data on your health, physical fitness, cognitive abilities, level of relaxation, but also important environmental factors are taken into account to provide you with a risk prediction for the dive. Especially divers with health impairments or divers who undertake very demanding underwater tours will benefit from this extensive data evaluation.
All Garmin MK3 models are equipped with Advanced WHRM, an optical heart rate sensor on the wrist, but can also be used with a Garmin Heart Belt for precise heart rate measurement, for example when the dive computer is worn over a wetsuit.
Very accurate orientation with compass and dive maps and GNSS satellite navigation
Underwater navigation has never been easier or more accurate, thanks to the innovative orientation aids offered by the new Garmin MK3 series. A very precise electronic 3D compass with tilt compensation helps you to always find the right bearing.
And as an absolute novelty, you will find pre-installed worldwide DiveView maps on all MK3 dive computers, which show you the topographical representation of the water bottoms and all surrounding dive spots in great detail. Five dive modes for advanced diving needs
From simple recreational dives with compressed air, to extended underwater tours with Nitrox or deep dives with Trimix, to advanced diving adventures with closed circuit rebreathers, with the MK3i anything goes. Even if you want to do without air underwater altogether, the MK3i dive computer accompanies you during freediving with the Apnea and Apnea Hunt modes.
Depending on the planned dive, environmental conditions, daily form or experience level, you can choose between different preset gradient factors with the MK3i dive computers to individually adjust the conservatism of your diving adventures for more safety and optimal bottom time.
Robust dive computer with integrated torch and many helpful measuring instruments
A new feature of the Garmin MK3i 51mm (only in this large size!) is the integrated flashlight, which can be used with either white or red light and is always useful when you unexpectedly need light underwater, to illuminate an instrument, to find your way in dimly lit environments, or to replace a broken torch in an emergency to ascend safely. It also offers an emergency blinking light.
