The new Scubapro Definition Shorty 2.5mm for women is an optimized model of the popular Scubapro Shorty Definition, also available in our online shop for diving Equipment as a Definition Shorty Man, a practical and comfortable wetsuit for snorkelers and divers in tropical waters, a short wetsuit from the Scubapro Definition Series which includes popular Neoprene Wetsuit like the Scubapro 5mm Wetsuit Definition 5.0 or the Scubapro 7mm Wetsuit Definition 7.0.
Improved cut for more thermal protection
The predecessor Shorty Definition Lady was already an absolute hit and sold millions of times, the new Scubapro Shorty Definition now impresses with an even more precise fit that ensures less water flow inside the wetsuit and thus offers increased thermal protection during water sports.
A short wetsuit with high wearing comfort
Of course, the optimized fit also ensures that the new Scubapro Shorty Definition 2.5 is more comfortable to wear and also provides significantly more freedom of movement. The innovative X-Foam N2S neoprene material, which is a lot softer and more elastic, and is coated with nylon on both sides also provides a comfortable fit and makes it easy to don and doff.
New to the Scubapro Definition Shorty 2.5 is the now diagonal YKK back zipper, which is not only easier to close and open, but also results in less stress on the material in certain areas and thus provides more durability.
Environmental compatibility in all points
Under the motto "Scubapro cares", the traditional manufacturer has now made environmental protection a top priority and this is reflected in the entire manufacturing process, from the choice of material, as all new wetsuits are made of environmentally friendly limestone neoprene without petroleum, through the ecologically optimized processing to the use of 100% solvent-free glue.

The expected lifespan of the new Scubapro Shorty Definition 2.5 wetsuit is also growing from generation to generation as the manufacturer optimizes the suit from model to model. This applies primarily to the material, which is already more durable than older neoprene variants and also significantly reduces the stress on certain parts of the suit due to its increased elasticity which leads to a longer life cycle.
In addition, the surface coating of the Definition 2.5 Shorty has been improved, which leads to less abrasion and wear.
The seams of the Scubapro Shorty Definition 2.5 have also been reinforced, double-glued and blind stitched with a now even more tear-resistant nylon thread.

How should you measure?
If you plan to wear swimwear or undergarments underneath the wetsuit, you should take measurements while wearing those garments underneath. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground. We recommend choosing the larger size for measurements between two sizes. There may be deviations of +/- 2 cm.
Chest: Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest and measure horizontally around your body.
Waist: Place the measuring tape horizontally around the narrowest part of your waist without pulling it too tight.
Hip: Stand with your legs together so that the thighs touch and place the measuring tape horizontally around the widest part of your buttocks.
