Regulator System Scubapro MK2 EVO S270 R095
This Scubapro MK2 EVO S270 R095 regulator is a brand-new entry-level regulator from Scubapro, a lightweight and reliable regulator for new divers, excellent as a lightweight travel regulator, as a training regulator or as a spare regulator.
This Scubapro regulator consists of the compact 1st stage MK2EVO, known from the popular travel regulator MK2EVO R195, and the brand-new 2nd stage S270, which can also be found in our online divestore in combination with the 2nd stage MK11 as a regulator MK11 S270 R095 or as Octopus S270. As an alternate air source for this regulator we chose the reliable basic Scubapro Octopus R095.
The 1st stage Scubapro MK2 EVO
Good freezing protection
The new Scubapro 1st stage MK2 EVO is equipped with the revolutionary XTIS technology, i.e. the Extended Thermal Insulating System technology, which opens a new era in cold water protection technology. The XTIS technology complies with the EN250-2014 standard and has up to 50% better cold water resistance than previous models. This is because the mechanical components of the new Scubapro EVO 1.stages are completely insulated from the environment.
In addition, the MK2 EVO has a larger cylinder opening for better heat exchange, new insulating spring coating, a new insulating bushing for the block, which is also larger and has a larger thread. Overall, the stage is very well designed for diving in cold water, the only one in the family of downstream piston-controlled stages.
Piston-controlled 1st stage with good air delivery performance
But this is not the only convincing feature of the MK2 EVO: it also features the classic downstream piston design and a 15% improvement in air delivery performance, as the enlarged piston provides more power and better response.
Robust, reliable and compact 1st stage
The MK2 EVO 1st stage has a chrome-plated, saltwater-resistant brass housing and is equipped with 4 medium pressure ports and 1 high pressure port.
The robust and compact construction, the handy handwheel and the modern design with main insulation elements in blue make a very good overall impression and are convincing even during intensive diving.
The 2nd stage Scubapro S270
The Scubapro S270 was built as a very light and compact 2nd stage, as a second stage for entry-level regulators or holiday regulators.
Surprisingly high breathing comfort
With the Scubapro S270 2nd stage, a pneumatically balanced valve ensures constantly pleasant breathing comfort regardless of diving depth or tank pressure. In addition, Super-Flow hose and a Hi-Flow mouthpiece with a large cross-section ensure an above-average airflow for a 2nd stage of this level.
Light and very robust 2nd stage
Made from a fibreglass reinforced nylon core with an innovative PU outer coating, the S270 2nd stage not only surprises with high resistance to scratches or salt water, but also with an incredible low weight, which is very comfortable for the neck and jaw muscles when diving and also convenient when you use the regulator as a travel regulator.
Very good cold-water properties
In order to be able to work reliably even in cold water, the inside of the Scubapro 2nd stage S270 is a robust plastic cylinder made of technopolymer with a metal thread, surfaces on which ice crystals cannot adhere, which gives this 2nd stage really good freezing protection.
No more free-flowing with the S270
The S270 is equipped with a practical Dive/Pre-Dive switch that helps you avoid accidental free-flow and is easy to operate even with thick neoprene gloves.
The Scubapro Octopus R095
Compact and reliable Octopus
The Scubapro R095 is the smallest and most compact 2nd stage of Scubapro, which can also be found in the Scubapro kids regulator. The R095 is a very light and compact alternate air source equipped with a classic Downstream valve that guarantees a safe and reliable operation, and an excellent breathing comfort.
Very comfortable alternate air source
The lightweight plastic housing and the orthodontic mouthpiece of the ensure a relaxed neck and jaw musculature even during long dives or during heavy currents.
Of course, this Octopus can be attached to any Scubapro 1 stage, and the LP hose can be mounted on both sides of the stage.
The R095 octopus is equipped with preset VIVA function, an an easy-to-operate purge button, and a constant, pleasant air flow thus being a perfect alternate air source for every Scubapro regulator system.
