As an alternative air supply we offer you in this set, the new Scubapro S270 Octopus, a light and compact Octopus with high breathing comfort.

A high-tech regulator in different configurations and variations

The Scubapro 1st stage MK19 EVO

100% freezing resistant 1st stage

The Scubapro MK19 EVO 1st stage is an air-balanced, membrane-controlled high-performance stage, which is perfectly armed against very low temperatures with special cold-water technology. The 1st stage MK19 EVO uses the patented AF anti-freeze protection, which is created by attaching a series of deflectors to the chrome-plated brass housing of the 1st stages, the surface of which acts as a heat dissipater. This means that it does not freeze, not even in very cold water.

In addition, it has an environmentally sealed system , a dry balance chamber that prevents water and pollution from getting in contact with the inner mechanism. Thus you have no dirt getting inside the 1st stage of your regulator, and, what's even more important for deep and cold dives, there is no chance for any ice crystals to develop on or around the main spring, even in extremely cold water.

Innovative Design and outstanding work of breathing

Like the MK17 EVO, the MK19 also scores with significantly improved breathing performance thanks to the optimized internal design, which ensures a higher air flow to the medium pressure ports. Also a novelty are the 5 and not only 4 high-flow ports, which are attached to a practical swivel turret, which means for you - absolute creative freedom when configuring your Regulator!

You have here a solid and compact 1st stage, with a cover that reminds of the MK17 EVO 1st stage and with a non-slip and robust handwheel in the DIN version.

The 2nd stage Scubapro D420

The Scubapro D420 2nd stage is a brand new 2nd stage that impresses with its innovative design and revolutionary features.

Improved breathing comfort through design innovation

Even at first glance, the D420 raises questions, as its design deviates from the known standards. However, these design changes are not just meant to look good, they're design innovations that significantly improve the breathing comfort.

For example, the exhaust valve is located in the lower part of the second stage, which means that the pressure gradient in an upright position is better used to improve breathing.

With practical Dive / Pre-Dive switch

On top of the  2nd stage  is a dive / pre-dive thumb switch that allows you to adjust the direction of the air flow.

Increased inhalation comfort and improved exhalation effort

Inside the innovative nylon housing of the D420 air deflectors were installed in order to direct the air to the exhaust valve to significantly reduce the exhalation effort.

What you don’t see, but clearly recognizable when diving with the Scubapro D420, is the incredibly high breathing comfort that is comparable to breathing free at the water surface, and this is due to the air-balanced control valve inside the D420 that delivers a progressive airflow.

Also, the "Superflow" hose of the D420, ensures high airflow,resulting in excellent breathing performance.

This Scubapro 2nd stage is easy to assemble and disassemble, and can be mounted on the right or left side of the hose.

Absolutely freezing resistant

Just try it – you will notice soon that you have barely ever breathed more comfortable than with this second stage, no matter how deep or how cold, because, like most Scubapro second stages, the D420 has excellent cold-water features.

The Octopus S270

Light and compact 2nd stage with surprising breathing comfort

Scubapro's new alternative air supply features a pneumatically balanced valve for constant comfortable breathing regardless of dive depth or tank pressure. In addition, a Super-Flow hose and a Hi-Flow mouthpiece with a large cross-section provide an above-average airflow.

The S270 is made of a fibreglass-reinforced nylon core with an innovative PU outer coating, making it very light and compact but also extremely robust. Good visibility is ensured by the S270's bright yellow front cover and yellow, 1m long, Super-Flow hose.

Very good freezing protection

Inside this Scubapro alternative air supply, a robust plastic cylinder made of technopolymer with a metal thread has been installed, surfaces on which ice crystals cannot stick, giving this 2nd stage good freezing protection. The S270 is also CE certified according to the latest European standards EN250A.

No more accidental free flow

The S270 is equipped with a practical Dive/Pre-Dive switch that helps you avoid accidental free flow and is easy to operate even when wearing thick neoprene gloves.
