With a total of 4 high-flow low-pressure ports, this first stage offers a higher air flow, and therefore significantly improved breathing comfort.

It has been specially developed for cold water regulators and scores with its outstanding anti-freezing technology - the revolutionary XTIS technology. This Extended Thermal Insulating System technology complies with the EN250-2014 standard and guarantees reliable function, even under extreme conditions.
Any regulator cold water configuration is possible with the MK17 EVO and even proves itself in ice diving and deep diving thanks to the excellent performance of this stage. Compared to previous models, the MK17 EVO offers an impressive 50% improvement in cold water resistance. Thanks to metal components for improved protection against the cold, this second stage is particularly suitable for demanding and colder diving environments and for cold-water regulators.

The Scubapro R105 Octopus is a robust and comfortable octopus for diving regulators, which you can find in our online dive shop in many high-quality Scubapro regulators such as the Scubapro MK25 EVO S600 R105 or the Scubapro MK19 EVO BT G260 Carbon R105, an emergency second stage from the family of the well-known alternate air supplies Scubapro R195 or Scubapro S270, which convince with similar good performance.
Reliable operation and pleasant breathing comfort
The classic downstream valve built into the Octopus R105 guarantees safe and reliable operation and also supplies very pleasant breathing comfort. The high-quality Super-Flow hose with a larger-than-average opening and, last but not least, the Hi-Flow mouthpiece also contribute to the significantly improved airflow of this alternate air supply.
This Scubapro octopus is also equipped with a VIVA DIVE/PRE-DIVE lever to prevent accidental free-flow in the water.
