First stage
The first stage of this Aqualung regulator is a high-quality diaphragm-controlled, overbalanced brass 1st stage, with extraordinary breathing performance in each diving depth. The angled 2 HP and 4 MP ports guarantee an optimal hose positioning.
Good freezing protection
With the LEG3ND MBS with ACD you can easily dive even in very cold water, because the 1st stage is equipped with a Dry Chamber, all moving parts being protected by a membrane from getting in contact with cold water.
1st stage protected agains dirt by patented ACD system
The LEG3ND MBS features the patented Auto Closure Device (ACD), a system that prevents water from entering the first stage as soon as it is removed from the tank. Thus, the 1st stage is perfectly protected against icing and soiling, and lubricants on the inner parts of the 1st stage can’t be rinsed out.
Second stage
Easy adjustable breathing comfort and Venturi effect
The second stage of the Aqua Lung LEG3ND MBS is a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage that uses the patented Master Breathing System (MBS) for maximum breathing comfort as it controles and synchronizes air flow and response resistance. With a simple setting, the diver can simultaneously control the venturi effect and breathing resistance and adapt them perfectly to the given diving conditions.
Does not freeze even in very cold water
The 2nd stage LEG3ND MBS is equipped with a patented heat exchanger around the valve mechanism that directs the cold, created inside the stage by gas expansion, directly outside the regulator.
Made of robust and salt-water resistant materials
This entire regulator is sturdy and corrosion-resistant, with robust materials, a stainless-steel front ring, and an ultra-flexible, 29” Aqua Flex hose.
The Comfobite mouthpiece of is made of hard-wearing rubber ist is ergonomically shaped, providing great comfort while diving.
