The Scubapro soft lead bags pack high quality processed lead pellets in very durable and tear resistant Cordura bags with welded seams to prevent lead abrasion from entering the environment.
With soft lead bags, it should be noted that frequent contact with water and heat can cause oxidation of the lead. This creates negative pressure inside the lead pockets and they become hard. You can compensate for the negative pressure by making a small hole in the lead pocket and then gluing it shut with Aquasure, for example.
