Mares Ultra ADJ 82X regulator

The Mares Ultra ADJ 82X regulator is a Mares regulator of the latest Mares generation, which also includes pieces of jewellery such as the Mares Epic ADJ 82X PVD , a powerful regulator scoring with lots of innovation and modern technology.

The Mares Ultra ADJ 82X regulator offers, for example, the proven Mares VAD technology, a Mares Twin Power switch, Mares DFC on all LP ports, as well as adjustable breathing resistance or the 5 LP-ports on a swivel turret that qualify the Mares Ultra ADJ 82X as a regulator for technical diving or a regulator for professional divers.

Mares 82X 1st stage

Robust 1st stage for extreme logevity

The 82X is a full metal Mares 1st stage made of solid brass, chrome- and nickel-plated, in order to withstand even the most demanding dives without any problems.

Another innovation in this 1st stage, and in all Mares 1st stages with the designation "X", is the ACT valve, provided with Advanced Coating Technology, which leads to 600% more valve durability.

Strong performance in cold water

Even in the coldest water the Mares 82X 1st stage will not freeze because its outer surface has been enlarged with grooves to optimize heat exchange.

5 LP ports for flexible house routing

On this Mares 1st stage  you will find 5 (!)medium-pressure ports placed on a swivel turret, which allow you an absolutely flexible hose routing and regulator configuration. All 5 LP ports are equipped with natural DFC. This is the proven Mares Dynamic Flow Control technology, which minimizes low pressure decrease during inhalation thus providing excellent breathing performance, even under extreme conditions.

The positioning of the HP ports is also new, because they are slightly tilted to improve the hose routing even more.

Self-sealing 1st stage prevents water and dirt ingress

Of course, the 82X also offers the meanwhile very popular AST - Auto Sealing Technolgy, which means that the new Mares 1st stages automatically seal themselves as soon as they are removed from the dive tank in order to avoid accidental water ingress .

Mares Ultra ADJ 2nd stage

The Ultra ADJ 2nd stage is a compensated Mares 2nd stage with pneumatically balanced downstream valve, an ultra-light 2nd stage made of high-quality technopolymer with a large, swivelling air shower button.

With adjustable breathing resistance

As with all second stages and alternative air supplies with the designation ADJ, this stage is a 2nd stage with adjustable breathing resistance, which explains the "ADJ" in the designation.

Excellent breathing comfort with VAD and VAD+ for optimum breathing performance in every diving situation

As we have come to expect from Mares, the Ultra ADJ 2nd stage is also equipped with VAD - Vortex Assisted Design technology. Air flows into the 2nd stage through the built-in bypass tube, creating a vortex that generates negative pressure, sucks in the membrane and causes the regulator to react even more precisely to your breathing and significantly improves breathing comfort at any depth. In addition, the Ultra ADJ even offers an improved VAD+ option that provides you with an additional breathing boost in extreme diving situations. Thanks to the Twin Power switch on this Mares 2nd stage, you can choose between VAD and VAD+ at any time.

With flexible and high-quality Superflex hose as standard

Like most Mares 2nd stages of the new generation, the Ultra ADJ is also equipped with a Superflex hose as standard, which is much more durable than normal LP hoses and also offers you maximum freedom of movement when diving thanks to its flexibility.
