The Mares Ergo Splash Snorkel
The Mares Ergo Splash is a high quality Mares snorkel, available in our online dive shop also with dry top, as Ergo Dry or as Ergo Flex with fully open top, a snorkel with Splash guard and purge valve, specially designed to give you the highest possible comfort on longer snorkelling trips, but also very popular with divers.
Comfortable snorkel with ergonomic details
To ensure that you don't have a strained neck or jaw on long snorkelling trips, this Mares snorkel has been made from a lightweight and unbreakable plastic and features some ergonomic details.
The anatomically shaped mouthpiece is made of soft, hypoallergenic silicone, and ensures a secure fit even during long snorkelling sessions.
For the same purpose, a pleated tube has been built into the tube of the Ergo Splash so that the snorkel follows all head movements without straining your neck muscles. The snorkel tube has a slight curve that has been adapted to the rounding of your head.
Easy water drain thanks to purge valve
For easy getting the water out of the snorkel, the Ergo Splash is equipped with a drain valve at the bottom of the snorkel tube, so you only have to blow gently to get the water out.
With practical splash guard
A practical splash guard has been attached to the upper end of the snorkel to prevent too much water from waves or spray from above from getting inside the snorkel. This means, that you can breathe freely as far as possible on the surface of the water. If you are looking for more protection against water getting from above inside your snorkel, we recommend a snorkel with a dry valve, such as the Ergo Dry with Dry Top.
Easy attachment, easy adjustment
With the attached snorkel holder, the Mares snorkel can be easily attached to the mask strap, where it provides a secure hold while snorkelling. Depending on the head size, the height of the snorkel can be adjusted by simply sliding the snorkel holder along the snorkel tube.
