Aqualung Axiom Women Jacket
The new Ladies BCD Axiom Women, also available as Axiom i3 Women BCD, and also as Men BCD Aqualung Axiom Men is the new dive jacket from Aqualung, an optimised and modernised version of the classic Aqualung Soul Ladies Jacket, a very comfortable and functional jacket for divers who appreciate buoyancy compensators with decent lift, robust workmanship and a good fit.
Innovative hybrid jacket for good lift and comfortable water position
With a Wing Jacket you enjoy a very comfortable water position underwater, because the wing-shaped air cell on the back optimally stabilises you in a horizontal position while diving. On the other hand, you are not quite as mobile. This is where the classic ADV jackets score, with the large all-round bladder that practically wraps up the upper body and allows you maximum freedom of movement. This hybrid jacket combines the advantages of both types of air cells, because it has a classic ADV bladder with an additional wing on the back, and thus also provides above-average lift capacity (e.g. 180N in size ML compared to 160N in size ML for the Axiom Men).
However, you don't have to worry if you're out at greater depths with a lot of equipment or weights - the Axiom Jacket will get you back up safely!
Excellent fit thanks to innovative design
The new Axiom Women scores with a very high wearing comfort, not least thanks to the patented Wrapture Harness System, which features a cut adapted to the female anatomy, with a shorter air cell for smaller body sizes, adjustable straps, a very thin but well padded back panel and rotating shoulder buckles for a secure, comfortable and easily adjustable fit. It also keeps the jacket from sliding up on the surface, and out of the water it shifts the weight of the scuba tank to the diver's hips, making it much easier to walk upright when all geared up.

Like its predecessor, the new Axiom Men scores with unparalleled comfort, thanks in large part to the patented Wrapture Harness System, which features a well thought-out cut, adjustable straps, a very thin but well padded back panel and rotating shoulder buckles for a secure, comfortable and easily adjustable fit. It also keeps the jacket from sliding up on the surface, and out of the water it shifts the weight of the scuba tank to the diver's hips, making it much easier to walk upright when all geared up.
The rolled collar also ensures good wearing comfort by preventing uncomfortable rubbing or pressure in the neck area.
Streamlined profile for effortless gliding underwater
The Bladder Retraction System is an innovative drawstring system that allows the bladder to expand as much as necessary, but when deflated, the air-cell contracts to provide a streamlined profile with minimal water resistance to make diving as easy as possible.
Secure tank attachment
The Axiom Women's GripLock tank attachment system secures the tank firmly and features a robust metal buckle that is child's play to operate and easy to adjust to different tank sizes, as well as a patented Finger Saver System that prevents you from pinching your fingers when locking the buckle.
Easy operation
Equipped with a classic Powerline inflator, the Axiom BCD is easy to use even for dive newcomers. The inflator head is easy to reach and the large buttons are easy to operate even when wearing gloves. There is also an additional quick release on the right hip and one on the right shoulder.
Integrated, well-secured weight pockets
The Axiom Jacket's integrated weight pockets provide enough space for your weights (up to 9 kg in each size when using soft lead pouches with lead granulate!) and are easy to insert thanks to the guide rails that eliminate unnecessary pushing and jerking. The weight pockets are fastened with the SureLock II fastening system which guarantees a secure hold and easy release in case of emergency.
In addition, this AquaLung buoyancy compensator for ladies has two closable trim weight pockets on the back.
