This regulator set is tested and assembled by us as a warm water regulator consisting of 1st stage+2nd stage+Octopus, with an additional 1st stage. If you require a different configuration, please notify us by email, quoting your order number.
The 1st stage XTX200 is an overbalanced diaphragm controlled 1st stage, which means that the breathing performance remains unchanged regardless of depth or tank pressure. For the diver, this means consistently pleasant breathing comfort, even at great depths or at very low tank pressure.
The 1st stage also cuts a fine figure in very cold water, because it is very freezing resistant thanks to the integrated cold kit, which also protects against dirt.
The XTX200 has an exchangeable valve seat and is equipped with 2 high-pressure ports and 4 low-pressure ports and it can be upgraded on demand to 5 LP-ports by the manufacturer. You can also have this first stage in the INT version.
The 2nd stage of the XTX200 reg will deffinitelly convince you with compact size, low weight and excellent breathing comfort. It is a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage which guarantees the least possible breathing effort. In order to meet the individual needs of every diver, the breathing resistance can be easily adjusted during the dive. You will also find a Venturi lever on the XTX200 2nd stage, which helps you avoid accidental free-flow.
In terms of exhalation resistance this 2nd stage also cuts a good figure due to the large silicone exhaust. The purge button is also large and easy to use even with thick neoprene gloves. The outflowing air can be easily dosed with this purge button by pressing it from the side and in the middle.
What we have here is a robust and hardwearing 2nd stage, made of a very long lasting polymer mixture, and the areas that come into contact with breathing gas are made of antibacterial material.
The very comfortable silicone mouthpiece relaxes the jaw muscles due to its anatomical shape even after long diving.
In order not to fail in cold water, Apeks equipped this second stage with a patented heat exchanger which directs the cold outside of the stage before the 2nd stage can freeze.
As a small gimmik, you'll get the the XTX200 regulator with a spare, wider exhaust tee, which you can use to practically "enlarge" your 2nd stage with a larger exhaust tee, that directs the air bubbles out of your sight when diving.
The Apeks XTX40 is a high-quality octopus with very pleasant breathing comfort, a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage with consistently good breathing performance.
This Apeks Alternate air source is a reliable 2nd stage with good work of breathing. It also offers the same large exhauste valve which guarantees you a very easy exhaling resistantce, and a large purge button for easy water clearance.
The XTX40 octopus is made of sturdy plastic and is equipped with a practical Venturi lever which helps you prevent accidental free-flow.
The XTX40 octopus also performs very well in cold water. The anatomically shaped, patented Comfo-Bite mouthpiece that relieves the jaw muscles ensures relaxed diving.
If necessary, the alternate air source can be easily converted from left to right.
The Apeks DS4 is a diaphragm-controlled first stage, perfect for upgrading an Apeks regulator to an cold water configuration.
Combined with a suitable alternate air supply, you can use your SCUBA system as a two-regulator configuration, when you dive in cold water, where you need two isolated 1st stages which can be switched off individually.
Even in very cold water, the Apeks DS4 is the right first stage for use in cold water, as it is completely closed and insulated form the environment and is equiped with a dry chamber, which means it is also optimally protected against dirt.
The fact that this Apeks 1st stage is a diaphragm controlled stage, means for the diver consistently good air delivery performance, regardless of depth or tank pressure.
This 1st stage offers one HP-port and 4 LP-ports and has a DIN 200/300 bar connection, and is also available as a Nitrox 1st stage.
The Slim Line 400 Bar pressure gauge is a lightweight and compact finimeter with a display up to 400 bar. It has a white fluorescent display with easy-to-read black markings that are very clearly visible even in poor visibility or at night.
The plastic housing of the Slimline pressure gauge is light and shock resistant, and securely encases the brass capsule of this very precise diving instrument. The fluorescent display of the pressure gauge is protected by shatter-proof Lexan glass.
Including HD hose, the Slim Line diving manometer is 88 cm long.
