The Sport 2.0 Shorty is a short and lightweight wetsuit for men, available in our online diving shop also as ladies shorty Sport 2.0 Lady and also as long 2,5mm neoprene overall Sport 3, a comfortable neoprene shorty suitable as diving suit or snorkelling suit for tropical waters, but also as swimming suit, triathlon suit or wetsuit for any other water sport.
Heat protection, sun protection and injury protection in tropical waters
Warm water sounds nice and cosy, of course, but it's not bathtub temperature. Therefore, it is not surprising that you need thermal insulation even wehen doing water sports on the Maldives or in other tropical areas, because anything colder than body temperature will make you freeze at some point. Therefore, it is advisable to use a wetsuit, even if it is only a short one, like this Sport 2.0 2mm Shorty, for longer stays in warm water. With its soft and elastic fit, it ensures a good fit and keeps your upper body nice and warm, even on longer snorkelling trips, and also provides reliable protection against sunburn and injuries from cnidarians or sharp-edged rocks.
Comfortable fit, good freedom of movement
For ambitious water sports enthusiasts who want to use this neoprene shorty for swimming or triathlon, it is good to know that the X-Foam neoprene used here is a very soft and elastic material that guarantees a very comfortable fit. In addition, a special triathlon cut was used for this Sport 2.0 shorty, with wide panels in the underarm and back area, which allow more freedom of movement than a classic wetsuit.
The Sport 2.0 has also been designed with comfort in mind, using flat lock seams and the Pure Design concept, with as few seams and panels as possible to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility.

How should you measure?
If you plan to wear swimwear or undergarments underneath the wetsuit, you should take measurements while wearing those garments underneath. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground. We recommend choosing the larger size for measurements between two sizes. There may be deviations of +/- 2 cm.
Chest: Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest and measure horizontally around your body.
Waist: Place the measuring tape horizontally around the narrowest part of your waist without pulling it too tight.
Hip: Stand with your legs together so that the thighs touch and place the measuring tape horizontally around the widest part of your buttocks.
