With this Scubapro regulator of the ScubaproMK25 EVO 1st stage, with the new Scubapro D420 2nd stage, Scubapro has created an absolute high-end regulator, with new design and significantly improved breathing performance, a professional regulator for demanding divers, a diving instructor regulator.
The Scubapro 1st stage MK25 EVO
The new Scubapro MK25 EVO 1st stage is equipped with the revolutionary XTIS technology, the Extended Thermal Insulating System technology, which opens a new age of cold water protection technology. The XTIS technology complies with the new EN250-2014 standard and grants up to 30% better cold-water resistance than predecessor models. Ice diving, deep diving, technical diving – no longer a problem with the new Scubapro MK25 EVO 1st stage. Because the mechanical components of the Scubapro MK25 EVO 1st stage are completely insulated thanks to the new XTIS technology, and the additional rills increase the heat exchange in cold water. In addition, an anti-frost cap provides even more thermal insulation.
But the Scubapro MK25 EVO 1st stage has much more to offer, such as significantly breathing performance, excellent inhalation sensitivity, interchangeable valve seat, adjustable medium pressure and a streamlined design.
The Scubapro MK25 EVO has a chrome-plated brass housing and is equipped with an air-balanced flow piston. You will find 5 low pressure ports and 2 high pressure ports on the Scubapro 1st stage MK25 EVO.
The 2nd stage Scubapro D420
The Scubapro D420 2nd stage is a brand new Scubapro 2nd stage that impresses with its innovative design and revolutionary features.
Even at first glance, the Scubapro D420 2nd stage raises questions, as its design deviates from the known standards. However, these design changes of the Scubapro D420 are not just meant to look good, they're design innovations that significantly improve the breathing comfort.
For example, the exhaust valve of the Scubapro 2nd stage D420 is located in the lower part of the second stage, which means that the pressure gradient in an upright position is better used to improve breathing.
On top of the Scubapro 2nd stage D420 is a dive / pre-dive thumb switch that allows you to adjust the direction of the air flow.
Inside the innovative nylon housing of the Scubapro D420 2nd stage air deflectors were installed in order to direct the air to the exhaust valve to significantly reduce the exhalation resistance.
What you don’t see, but clearly recognizable when diving with the Scubapro D420 second stage, is the incredibly comfortable breathing resistance that is comparable to breathing at the water surface, as the D420 incorporates an air-balanced control valve that delivers a progressive airflow.
Also, the "Superflow" hose of the Scubapro second stage D420, ensures high airflow, and therefore excellent breathing performance.
Just try it – you will notice soon that you have barely ever breathed more comfortable than with the Scubapro D420 2nd stage no matter how deep or how cold, because, like most Scubapro second stages, the D420 2nd stage has excellent cold-water features.
The D420 Scubapro 2nd stage is easy to assemble and disassemble, and can be mounted on the right or left side of the hose.
