The Mares Standard Buoy Inflatable
The Mares Standard Buoy Inflatable is a decompression buoy equipped with a small weight at the bottom, a line and a carabiner.
The Mares buoy is a standard inflatable deco buoy that can be inflated underwater with the air shower. The Mares inflatable deco buoy rises to the surface after inflation where it remains positioned vertically thanks to the small weight attached to the bottom of the Mares deco buoy. The Mares Standard Buoy is a high quality diving buoy made of sturdy and flexible material that can be easily rolled up after use. The Mares Standard Buoy can be placed directly in the jacket pocket, or it can be stowed in the designated bag which can be attached to any part of the diving equipment with the corresponding carabiner hooks.
With its bright orange color, the Mares Deco Buoy is still easily visible on the surface of the water, even at great distances and in strong swells.
A decompression buoy should always carry a diver in open water, because it can be the only way in an emergency to draw attention to themselves, whether you were driven away by the current, whether there is a strong swell and you are not seen by the boat, or you have to surface in an area with heavy boat traffic.

The Mares Compact Reel
The Mares Compact Reel is an important tool for diving and can be used as an orientation aid in a cave or a wreck, as an ascent aid to the surface in turbid water or during diving lessons, as an attachment line for a buoy or for a small load or as a search aid during a navigation or a search and recovery diving course.
The Mares Compact Reel consists of a sturdy take-up reel made of break-resistant plastic, with a retractable handle. The Mares Compact Reel has a 30m tear-resistant line that is saltwater resistant and very durable. At the end of the 30m line of the Mares Compact Reel is a sturdy stainless steel double carabiner, a double Ender, which is also available as a single piece as Mares double carabiner stainless steel in our online dive store.
