Mares SMB Training 1m
The Mares SMB Training 1m is a Mares training buoy, a Mares XR buoy that can be inflated with just one breath.
The Mares SMB Training Buoy is a small signal buoy that can be inflated by mouth, and thanks to its very small volume, can be inflated with just one breath. The Mares SMB 1m training buoy is only 1m long and 10cm wide, and is mainly used as a Mares XR training buoy.
The Mares 1m signal buoy is made of a very durable 210D nylon material with TPU coating, in highly visible red with black Mares lettering. To prevent the Mares 1m SMB XR training buoy from bursting during ascent, it is equipped with a pressure relief valve that can also be operated manually. The pressure relief valve holder and the hose of the Mares SMB training buoy are made of robust TPU.
The Mares 1m training buoy for technical diving will be delivered to you without a line, because you should normally attach this Mares 1m SMB directly to a reel. Corresponding reels for signal buoys can of course be found in our online diving store. The Mares 1m XR SMB is equipped with a D-ring made of stainless steel 304 to which you can attach the reel or a line.
