This high-tech carbon regulator with alternate air source from Scubapro is an upgrade of the well-known Scubapro regulator MK25 EVO DIN G260. In this new Black Tech Carbon version, this powerful regulator has been made even more robust through the use of extremely resistant and durable materials, as already known from pieces of jewelry such as the high-quality Scubapro Carbon regulator MK19 EVO BT G260 Carbon.
Significantly improved durability through more robust materials
The black color of this Scubapro Black Tech carbon regulator is not only a matter of design, but all metal components of this regulator have been covered with a special Black Tech coating that is scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant and saltwater-resistant. This coating consists of an inner coating of nickel, and a top layer of shiny, diamond-like carbon coating, which makes theMK25EVO Black Tech G260 Carbon Black Tech R195 practically indestructible, making it perfect for demanding dives, as a regulator for technical diving or regulator for ice diving. The extremely robust carbon cover of the 2nd stage G260 also ensures increased resistance even under heavy duty circumstances.

Excellent freezing protection
The piston-controlled 1st stage MK25 EVO is equipped with the revolutionary XTIS technology, the Extended Thermal Insulating System technology, which opens a new era of cold water protection technology. The XTIS technology answers the new EN250-2014 standard and has up to 30% better cold water resistance than previous models. Ice diving, deep diving, technical diving - this is no longer a problem with the new Scubapro EVO 1st stages. The mechanical components of these 1st stages are completely insulated thanks to the new XTIS technology, and the additional fins increase the heat exchange in cold water. In addition, an antifreeze cap provides even more thermal insulation.

But the piston-controlled MK25 EVO has much more to offer, such as a significantly improved inhalation sensitivity and instant delivery of air on demand, replaceable valve seat, externally adjustable medium pressure and a modernized design.

You will find 5 medium-pressure ports, one of which is a powerful, axial LP port, all placed on a 360° swivel turret and 2 high-pressure ports placed on both sides of the stage, a very well thought-out arrangement that ensures flexible hose routing.

The Scubapro G260 Carbon is a balanced, diaphragm-controleld 2nd stage, a revival of the legendary G250 which is one of the most robust and most copied 2nd stages in diving history. As G260, this 2nd stage has advanced to become the most popular Scubapro 2nd stage in tech diving and is practically indestructible thanks to the carbon construction and the Black Tech coating.
Does not freeze, even in icy water
The G260 Carbon Black Tech has excellent freezing protection, because in this version, as Carbon Black Tech stage, all components are exclusively made of frost-resistant materials and the case consists of indestructible Carbon which causes a weight reduction of 24gr compared to the classical G260.
Modern design and practical features for comfortable dives
Although the membrane and purge button have remained pretty large, the case of the Carbon 2nd stage G260 is smaller than that of the G250.
The new flow-optimized demand lever also improves the breathing performance compared to the old version, as well as the air-balanced valve technology that significantly reduces the breathing resistance. If required, the diver can also adjust the breathing resistance steplessly. The Superflow hose also contributes significantly to an increased breathing comfort.
The exhaust tee of the Scubapro G260 Black Tech 2nd stage is exactly like the Scubapro A700 - it ensures a pleasant breathing resistance and keeps the air bubbles out of the diver's face.
This Carbon G260 2nd stage is also equipped with a practical VIVA switch to avoid freeflow.
With little effort, you can attach your LP-hose to both sides of this stage, which allows flexible and easy changeover of the hose routing for individual technical diving regulator configurations.
