The Mares Rover Octopus is a modernized and improved version of the now legendary Mares Rover 2nd stage, which has already impressed several times with its performance.
The Mares Rover Alternate Air Source is a medium-sized Mares 2nd stage made of lightweight techno polymer that is extremely abrasion-resistant and salt water resistant, with metal components made of chrome-plated and nickel-plated stainless steel.
The breathing resistance of the Mares Rover Octopus convinces at every depth thanks to the patented VAD system. The Vortex Assisted Design technology causes air to flow through the bypass tube that you will find on the Mares Rover Octopus, creating a vortex with underpressure in its centre, which sucks in the membrane and causes the regulator to react even more sensitive to your breathing, significantly improving breathing comfort at every depth.. The built-in Fluid Dynamic reflector inside the Mares 2nd Stage Rover ensures that the diver has constant easy inhalation in every diving situation.
The purge button of the Mares Rover alternate air source is soft and easy to use, the bright yellow front cover with built-in mesh grid lowers the risk of free-flow of the 2nd stage Mares Rover by reducing the water pressure on the membrane even in strong currents.
