Dive Lamp Oceama Guppy 2
The diving lamp Guppy 2 is the big sister of the popular mini lamp Oceama Guppy, a small and powerful underwater lamp, which is very suitable as a backup lamp, as a handy day lamp or also as a primary dive torch for night dives with a diving group, where to strong dive lights with floodlight are not so popular.
Powerful performance with minimal size
Like its predecessor, the Guppy 2 does not impress at first glance with its size, as the lamp is only 10 cm long, but as soon as you switch it on, it will surprise you with its convincing performance. It offers a powerful 1200 lumen light beam, twice as much as the first Guppy lamp, bundled to 10° with a wide-angle halo to illuminate specific areas underwater. This means that it is not necessarily suitable for underwater photography or solo diving, where wider light cones are better suited, as with the Oceama Shark or the Oceama Ray, both dive lamps with adjustable light angle.
Powerful battery
The included 18650 lithium-ion battery guarantees a minimum of 60 to a maximum of 90 minutes of continuous brightness, which is more than enough for a dive. With the included battery charger, which is equipped with digital protection against overcharging and overheating, you can quickly recharge the battery. If you need the same light output with a longer burn time on just one battery charge, we recommend the slightly larger but also very compact Oceama Bonito.
Very robust construction and very easy to use
With a sturdy housing made of hard anodised aluminium and a front screen made of safety glass, the small but powerful Oceama Guppy 2 diving lamp can easily withstand pressure up to a maximum diving depth of 200 metres.
Even with thick neoprene gloves, the Guppy 2 is still very easy to operate, as it is equipped with a rotary switch integrated in the lamp housing.
Easy transport and mounting
Even in its second version, the Oceama Guppy remains one of the smallest underwater lamps you can find on the market, and is therefore easy to store and transport.
With a built-in battery, it weighs just 140g and fits in your BCD pocket, on your wrist with the included wrist strap or, in the classic way, attached to your dive jacket with a coiled cable or snapper.
And if the Oceama Guppy 2 is a bit too small for your diving needs, you can find more underwater lamps of the Oceama family in our online diving shop, such as the Military diving lamp with 1500 lumens or the powerful Oceama Spider with unsurpassed 3000 Lumens.
