The Definition 1 is a thin neoprene wetsuit for ladies from the experienced manufacturer Scubapro, who, as with the entire Definition wetsuit series, such as the Definition 5 5mm wetsuit or the 7mm semi-dry wetsuit Definition 7, also uses very durable and elastic X-Foam neoprene material, anatomical cut and practical features to offer a thin all-rounder that is perfect for all water sports, as a base layer, swimsuit, snorkeling suit, freediving suit, triathlon suit wetsuit for surfing or rowing, and for any other water sport that requires a comfortable warming layer.

Made of a very elastic and flexible X-Foam neoprene, an innovative neoprene material that has already proven itself in many Scubapro wetsuits, and lined on the inside with a super-stretch nylon lining, the Definition 1 allows great freedom of movement, which is especially important for sports such as swimming, rowing or surfing. The anatomical Pure Design Concept cut with few seams and inserts also ensures pleasant wearing comfort and flexibility.
The Body Map System was used in the creation of the pattern to place all the cuts, inserts and seams of the suit in such a way that there is as little stress as possible on the body and all pressure points are avoided, even when additional equipment is worn over it, such as when diving or surfing. The ultra-flat seams also ensure a very comfortable fit.

With 1mm neoprene thickness, the Definition 1 neoprene wetsuit for women is not necessarily suitable as a diving suit, as you do need a bit more thermal protection when diving, except perhaps for short dives in tropical areas. However, thanks to its good fit, this 1mm neoprene overall will protect you quite well from cool temperatures, especially if you have to move on the surface of the water for a long time, or do sports wet in the wind, such as triathlon, rowing, snorkeling, swimming or surfing.
As it has a low buoyancy, allows full freedom of movement and does not restrict the athlete in any way, the Definition 1 is also very popular with apnoea divers as a freediving suit.

The Definition 1 is so thin that it could easily fit under your regular wetsuit to give you a little more protection from the cold when diving. For this use, the suit has been equipped with practical foot loops so that it does not slip up when you pull another wetsuit over it.

How should you measure?
If you plan to wear swimwear or undergarments underneath the wetsuit, you should take measurements while wearing those garments underneath. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground. We recommend choosing the larger size for measurements between two sizes. There may be deviations of +/- 2 cm.
Chest: Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest and measure horizontally around your body.
Waist: Place the measuring tape horizontally around the narrowest part of your waist without pulling it too tight.
Hip: Stand with your legs together so that the thighs touch and place the measuring tape horizontally around the widest part of your buttocks.
