The Apeks DS4 1st stage
The first stage Apeks DS4 is a diaphragm-controlled Apeks 1st stage, perfect to upgrade an Apeks regulator such as the Apeks ATX40 DS4 to an Apeks cold water configuration. Combined with an Apeks octopus, the Apeks DS4 1st stage can be used as a two-regulators system when two separate lockable regulators are required for cold-water diving, such as technical diving or ice diving.
The fact that the Apeks DS4 1st stage is a membrane-controlled Apeks 1st stage means that the air delivery performance remains unchanged regardless of depth or tank pressure. For the diver, this means constant, pleasant breathing even in deep dives or at very low tank pressure.
Even in very cold water, the Apeks 1st stage DS4 is the right cold water 1st stage because it is completely closed and has a Drychamber. As a result, the Apeks DS4 1st stage is also optimally protected against contamination.
The Apeks DS4 1st stage is equipped with 1 high-pressure ports and 4 medium-pressure ports that are ingeniously placed for a comfortable and flexible hose guide.
The Apeks 1st stage DS4 is equipped with a DIN 200/300 bar connection and is available in our online dive shop as well as Apeks Nitrox 1st stage.
